Smokey Bear

Smokey is a 4-month old grey tabby boy. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He loves to play with toys and to wrestle with his foster friends. He is also very cuddly after a good play session. The new home should have a playful and friendly kitty or a dog unless they adopt him with one of his foster friends. He is harness trained, indoor recall trained, comfortable with nail trims and receiving medications. He also rides very well in my car. He loves being petted on your lap. He is the most confident of all my current fosters.

He has an enormous love for his food. He will not do well with a family who believes in free feeding. He is highly trainable due to his food drive.

Before he goes to his forever home, he will be neutered and tested negative for ringworm. (Test is scheduled for this month) He should be ready for adoption in September. Baby Bear (Part of Vanilla, Ice, Baby)

Baby Bear came to us with Vanilla and Ice with all kinds of medical problems, including ringworm, coccidia, giardia, worms, hair loss, and was semi feral. We aren’t sure if they are related as he was half the size compared to Vanilla and Ice. He was skin and bones and I was afraid I might lose him in the beginning. Today, he is a completely different kitty! He is one of the most affectionate kittens I have at the moment. (He might not act that way with new people until he gets to know them) He is very playful yet very calm when he needs to. He is a dream kitten! He just loves being petted and loved on. As most cats, he is sound sensitive, but he gets reassured when I talk to him sweetly. He is also very food motivated. He loves snuggling up with my other foster kittens. It doesn’t matter which kitty as long as the other kitty enjoys the cuddles too. He also loves one of my dogs. He does not need to get adopted with his foster buddy as long as the new family has a playful and friendly kitty or a dog. If you are interested in adopting two, he gets along with any of my foster kittens. He is harness trained, recall trained, comfortable with nail trims and receiving medications. He also rides very well in my car.

Sunny Bunny Ginger Bear

Sunny is a 4-month old ginger boy. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is a typical ginger! He is goofy, sweet, playful, and strong willed. He is also one of the most affectionate kittens I’ve ever fostered. He loves everyone and wants to play with anyone. The new home should have a playful and friendly kitty or a dog unless they adopt him with one of his foster friends. He is harness trained, indoor recall trained, comfortable with nail trims and receiving medications. He also rides very well in my car. If you are looking for a kitten that’s always mellow, he is not the right one. He will do well in an active home with other furry friends and/or children. As long as he gets his playtime, he will cuddle on your lap, by your feet or on a bed with his buddy.

Vanilla & ICE

Vanilla and Ice will be ready for adoption after they are spayed/neutered and have a negative fungal infection test. (Test is scheduled for this month)

They are both a little over 3.5 months old. They appear to have Siamese in them. They are both harness trained, indoor recall trained, comfortable riding in a car and getting their nails trimmed. They both overcame so many health issues, including ringworm, coccidia, giardia, every kinds of worms, fleas, upper respiratory infections, and an eye infection. They have gone through so much as tiny kittens, and deserve to be spoiled rotten!

Vanilla is an “old soul”. She is very calm for her age, affectionate with people and comfortable with gentle pups. She loves being on our lap and giving kisses. She is playful, but she’s more of a lap kitty. It would be wonderful if she’s adopted with her brother Ice. They are not inseparable as some bonded pairs are, but they like to play and sleep together. She’s independent, and prefers people and a friendly pup over other cats. It took her a few weeks to be comfortable with Sunny and Smokey. She can be an apartment kitty as long as she gets her mental and physical stimulations. You can also walk her on a leash/harness.

Ice was shy when I rescued him. He has gotten so much better about being handled and carried around. He loves giving head nudges on my hand and legs, and sleeps by my feet when I cook. He is food motivated and very trainable. He is very gentle, sweet, and so good looking! He likes to play with other kittens and my pup, so his adoptive family must have a playful and friendly kitty or a pup, unless they adopt Vanilla as well. (Which is highly preferrable)

Our current adoption fee is $200 per kitten but additional donations are very much appreciated. We spend on average $300-600 per kitten on medical care, not to mention countless hours of volunteer time to train and socialize daily. We, as a non-profit organization, operate solely on donations and time dedicated by volunteers. If you find our adoption fee is too high, please check out your local shelters.
